Disney On Ice: Magic of Family Lancaster Theatre reviews
first live wresting show
It was my very first live wrestling show, and it was great. J. Cenna and the Big Show (Big Platapuss) were wonderful. Also, MC Punk and Brian Daniels were among my favorites. Most of the wrestlers were attentive to the kids at the show, which I liked. Most of them made sure the kids got the items they threw into the crowds. I could have gotten a shirt, but the wrestler said it was for the little girl standing beside me, who wasn't as thrilled as I would be, I thought. She didn't even want the shirt. We went to our seats, and she and her mother sat beside me. Her mother said the little girl was there because her grandmother bought her the tickets so she could see her favorite wrestler, not the guy who gave her the shirt but the one he was wrestling. Even though she didn't seem that excited to get the shirt right now, her mother is still going to hang the shirt in her room to remind her of the day she saw her favorite wrestler (who lost) and the wonderful memory of the day she got the shirt. I didn't get anything thrown to the crowd, but I did get a special memory for the day with my husband and his dad and a greater appreciation of what wrestling is all about. Thank you for putting the kids first! All the shows put on were great, and some of them were very funny.
Great Entertainment
The show itself was excellent. Understandable but it was in the evening, cold, windy & no protection. The winnings were great especially whenever a contestant won someone in the audience would also win a gift card from Amazon, really nice. I would definitely come back to see Disney On Ice again. Arrived to find out we needed to wait on a line in order to register for a chance to “Come on Down”. There was great participation from the audience. Feel better accommodations should have been made. The MCs were very engaging & created much excitement. Thanks for a great night.
James Taylor - must see
"Brilliant time from start to finish! This was my first time experiencing Disney On Ice in concert and it was even more special to be in this fantastic venue! The crowd was so into the evening and it was a perfect night! Flawless music and wonderful voice. The storytelling before each song makes you feel like you are in the company of a good friend. James shares details of where he was when…or what he was doing… It just made it all the more enjoyable. From the many people that keep this place running smoothly (paid and unpaid volunteers), help keep this treasure the go-to place for any fantastic evening. Disney On Ice serenaded us like never before and I believe they enjoyed the evening as much as we did! Magical night!"
It got better and better
The Black Keys exceeded my exceedingly high expectations. Everything was perfect - from the sound to the songs to the lights to the crowd (including the weather, which I'm convinced they were somehow able to arrange). I'm constantly amazed at the sound these two guys are able to create. During this concert I was impressed at how they were able to put on a show without being flashy - using lights, video and even other band members, without distracting from the music. In fact, it truly did enhance it. Hands down, this was one of the best concerts I've ever attended. Well done!
I could describe Cage the Elephant as loud. That's really the only word I knew I liked the music, but I hadn't heard much before this show. Smiled watching the fun the entire band seemed to be having on stage after we all picked our jaws up off the floor from hearing her booming, yet angelic voice. In my opinion, they were the perfect opening act for Disney On Ice.
Amazing Florence & The Machine.
